Hi Glyn,
it was a very good night at the Joey Jones sportsmans night.
Having held 14 such events in the past I believe I am well experienced to comment on this night.
It was a well organised event, with a quality speaker, funny comedian and great food.
Not too much fundraising, just about right I believe and a great effort from you Glyn on the auction at the end.
I am pretty sure all attendees will have enjoyed and would be keen to return.
a great effort and i will go again as will all of my party.

A very good night out, food was good quality at the Quayside, and the guest speakers were fantastic, and nice to see the people attending bidding and donating good amounts to the football club through the auction.
Many thanks for all the hard work and effort you put into organizing and running Runcorn Town FC's Sportsman's Dinner.
The Quayside proved to be an excellent choice of venue, the staff were friendly and efficient, the food was superb and good value.
Kevin Ratcliffe proved to be an intriguing speaker, very approachable, shaking hands, giving autographs and posing for photo's.
Your input as compare enabled the rest of our committee to enjoy the evening, you took so much strain away with your organisation
that I would have no hestitation in recommending your services for future events to Runcorn Town and any other Sports Clubs.
Due to you we raised a nice little boost to our club funds in preparation for the biggest 2 steps in our brief history.
Once again many thanks for your valuable time, effort and enthusiasm on our behalf.
best regards
Roy Roberts
President
Runcorn Town FC
ps: remind me to buy you a pint
I would like to confirm that Glyn Davies ran a very successful Sportspersons Dinner at The Holiday Inn on behalf of Runcorn Linnets FC. The night was enjoyed by all who attended

The evening was very enjoyable, as a Man Utd fan it was great to not only hear Mickey Thomas speak about his career in the game, but also his colourful career outside the game, he made time for everyone he met on the evening aswell, the comedian was very good, very funny, and had the audience in stitches, well done on the overall organisation of the event, Sportsmans Evenings did a good job sorting the event out and i enjoyed the hospitality also at the Quayside
Thanks for all your help in providing us with an excellent comedian in Mark Rough for the Albert Park Amateur Rugby League presentation evening. Mark went down well and is a really funny fella and helped make it a very memorable night for all concerned with the club.

Saturday nights Albert park ARLFC annual sportsman/presentation evening was another roaring success.
Its is the 5th year the awards ceremony has been done in a sportsmans format and as usual it went down a storm.
Mc Franklin Williams did a great job as usual keeping the proceedings running smoothly, filling the gaps with jokes and bits.
Guest speaker lenny lowe told some hilarious anicdotes, and was followed by comic MARK ROUGH who carried the laughter on with side splitting stories of his own.
Half back ian scott received the PPOTY award as well as 3rd POTY.
Goal kicking lose forward sean mcwhirter received the POTY and too points scorer awards.
Scrum half terry gregson won the top try scorer and 2nd POTY prizes.
Prop forward dave murphy scooped the clubman of the year for his "off the field" efforts, and most improved player for his on field contributions.
Sean oconnor and liam abram shared the honour of YPOTY, and michelle mcwhirter, mother if sean, picked up the services award for her work behind the scenes.
The night ended with a disco carrying on into the wee hours of sunday morning.
A successful event to cap a hard season for the "bert".....roll on next year.
I had a great time last night Glyn, never thought I would enjoy a sportsmans evening but I did, and I would definatley attend another one, even though they are mainly aimed at men, I think the women who also attended had a fab time too, looking forward to the next one if am allowed x
